First off—congratulations! If you’re reading this, it probably means you’re planning your wedding and considering having me document one of the most important days of your life. That’s a huge honor, and I don’t take it lightly. I want you to feel excited, informed, and totally at ease when you book with me. So let’s walk through exactly what you can expect from start to finish when you choose me as your wedding photographer.
1. The Inquiry
Once you reach out (via my contact form, email, or even a DM), I’ll respond within 24–48 hours with my availability and full pricing guide. From there, we can schedule a discovery call (virtual or in person) to chat more about your vision, your vibe, and your plans. I want to get to know you—your story, your priorities, and what’s most important to you on your wedding day.
2. Booking + Locking in Your Date
Once you’re ready to make it official (yay!), I’ll send over a digital contract and invoice. A signed contract and a non-refundable deposit secure your date in my calendar. After that- you’re officially booked!
You’ll also get a welcome guide packed with helpful tips, timeline suggestions, vendor recommendations, and more. I’m all about making this process fun and stress-free for you.
3. Engagement Session (Optional but Highly Recommended)
If your package includes an engagement session, we’ll schedule it for a time that feels right for you. It’s the perfect chance for us to get comfortable together, for you to practice being in front of the camera, and for me to learn what works best for you two as a couple. It’s also a ton of fun—think of it as a casual date night with a third wheel (me!) who’s there to capture all the magic.
4. Wedding Prep
A few weeks before the big day, I’ll send over a questionnaire that helps me understand your timeline, key moments, family groupings, and any specific requests you have. Then we’ll hop on a final call to go over everything and make sure we’re aligned. I’m always available for questions and timeline guidance—I’ve photographed a lot of weddings, had one of my own - and I’m happy to share what I’ve learned along the way.
5. Your Wedding Day
The big day is here! My goal? To capture your love story in a way that feels real, emotional, and uniquely you. I’ll be there to catch the candid moments, the joyful tears, the little glances, and the wild dance floor moves. I’ll blend into the background when needed and step in for guidance during portraits and key moments.
6. Sneak Peeks
Within 1-2 weeks of your wedding, I’ll send you a handful of sneak peeks so you can relive the magic right away and share with friends and family. I don’t want to keep you waiting! Don't forget to tag Bright Lens Photography 🙂
7. Gallery Delivery
Your full wedding gallery will be delivered within 6–8 weeks via a beautiful, private online gallery. From there, you’ll be able to download your images, share them, and even order prints or albums.
